Ok guys, I need to ask all of you out there for a bit of a favor. I'm looking to start a sculpting studio, and I need to start getting some customer input to give to the guys down at the chamber of commerce. The basic idea behind my business venture is that I'm looking to fill a niche within a niche. Most people out there who are into sci-fi, comics, anime, or miniature gaming know that the company you buy from doesn't always have the figure you actually want. Sometimes it just doesn't exist, other times it does, but not in the pose you want, or it just doesn't look like what you had imagined. Maybe you don't want a customization, but something to leave a lasting impression on a significant other or a family member? I mean, other then an engagement right, what's going to be more impressive on an anniversary then a personalized bust of your better half? Think about it; flowevers die, but a sculpture is fairly permanent. I am here to hopefully fill that niche. Granted there are still some IP issues I have to work out involving commission work, but that should get ironed out fairly soon. In the meantime I have a little survey for you guys to fill out. If you could send it back to me as a note I'd be ever so grateful. I know that nobody likes to fill these things out, but really, this will be helping me lots and will also get me the funding to find the time to make more art for you guys! I do it out of love....really.



1. I am offering to sell custom miniatures, custom sculptures of friends, family members and pets, and just about anything I am asked to sculpt. Are you interested in these services?



2. My products will be made from polyurethane resin. Do you have any problems with this material? Do you have any other mediums that you would prefer your sculptures in?



3. Are there any sort of models or sculptures that I have not mentioned that you would be interested in ordering? Are there any sizes that you would prefer I work in?



4. I have some prices already calculated and I know how much other manufacturers charge, but I would like to know what you would consider a fair price for a 28mm miniature, a 4 inch bust, and an 8 inch bust. These are the general scales I plan on producing and I would like to know what you consider a reasonable amount to charge for these.



5. Are you willing to do business online?



6. Where would you look if you needed to find services like I am offering?



7. If I was to sell a line of original models what would you like to see produced? Some ideas would be things like zombies, steampunk figures, pulp action figures, or weird war 2 figures.
